Instrumental parts of this piece were recorded independently by musicians themselves in their towns of residence (Stockholm, St.Petersburg, Cologne, Vilnius). For this piece each musician was sent so-called “audio score” – a music score which consists of sequences of pre-recorded sounds that simultaneously should be listened on headphones and interpreted (imitated) on instruments. The same method was applied for recording of the vocalist’s part which shouldn’t be considered as a solo, but rather as an integral part of the collective maze of melodies and harmonies.
