This piece is based on pitch material sampled from Mohammad Mousavi’s recordings of Persian Ney music. The sound of this ancient instrument was treated as a role-model for derivatives of harmony, melody, rhythm and dynamics. This piece doesn’t have a concert score, just individual parts which have to be coordinated intuitively by the musicians themselves.
