“Story of One Sound” combines an exhibition, opening performance, radio-play recording and acoustic measurement procedure for the exhibition space. Only one sound piece is “on display” in the exhibition. It was recorded two years ago in the kitchen of the ground floor flat where the artist himself lives. Before the renovation of the house this rather quiet but annoying sound of around 370 Herz (similar to F Sharp) coming out from the basement throughout the heating season was constantly heard not only in the kitchen but in the entire flat. This sound became the reason of the divorce of artist’s parents in 1980's.
